Work Party --- all ranges closed

Range Maintenance Work Party Saturday May 27th

This week we will be focusing on the following tasks:

1.  General range cleanup, removing garbage and downed branches, sweeping out the shooting houses.  Would like someone with a pickup truck to volunteer to make a dump run after the work party. 

2.  Digging up some of the drainage piping on the rifle range so we can replace it with more efficient drainage to prevent washouts in heavy rains.  Needed:  Several guys with picks and shovels.

3.  Starting to fill up the big washout under the sound wall at rifle range.  We will be squaring up the washout and filling it with rock.  Needed:  guys with shovels, work gloves, etc to move and place a lot of rock. This task will likely take a couple of work parties before it's complete.

4.  A couple of small cement jobs - fixing a hole in the concrete by the front gate, and putting a 5' x 5' foundation at the bottom of the settling pond for the pistol range.
