SPECIAL WORK PARTY - RANGE CLOSED

REPAIRING LAST WINTER'S DAMAGE TO RIFLE RANGE, AND TO PREVENT RIFLE RANGE CLOSURE THIS WINTER.

- The Rifle Range will be closed all day on Saturday 10/21/17 and Sunday 10/22/17. 

The Pistol Range may be open during the work - PLEASE check website calendar beforehand Saturday & Sunday (10/21-22) to confirm if closed.

WORK PARTY CREDIT WILL BE ISSUED.  

EVENT REGISTRATION IS CURRENTLY LIMITED TO 15, BUT CAN BE EXTENDED.   Please pre-register so we know who will be coming.  Meet at the range at 8:00 AM Saturday. We can probably use a couple of heavy duty circular saws, drills and power drivers.  

This event is for construction work that needs to be done before the Winter rains.  This work may extend into Sunday, 10/22/17.  

WE WILL BE BUILDING RETAINING WALLS ON SIDES OF THE RIFLE RANGE.

THERE WILL BE A TRACTOR, SKID LOADER, CEMENT MIXER TRAILER, WATER TRAILER AND A BRANCH CHIPPER ON SITE FOR THIS WORK.

MANUAL WORK WILL INVOLVE BOARD CUTTING, SETTING & CEMENTING POSTS AS WELL AS SOME SHOVEL WORK WHERE THE TRACTOR CAN'T REACH.  

We won't be doing any raking, sweeping out shoot houses, or other light work that will be handled the following weekend at the regularly scheduled work party.
