RANGE CLOSED 8AM to 2PM Work Party Sat Oct 26th.

Common Area:

Need 5 to 8 volunteers who are willing to learn about the electrical system and are willing to check the state of the system each time they visit the range. Rudimentary electrical knowledge required. Solar experience welcome but not necessary.

Refill the red steel 5 gallon gasoline can for the Honda backup generator.
Run the backup generator and make sure it charges the battery bank. 
Check the oil in both generators and replenish if necessary.
Tilt the solar array into the "winter" position.

Check the Specific Gravity of each cell in the battery bank and refill with distilled water if necessary. 

Add a "Security" plate above the existing plate on the main gate for added entry security. 

Spread anti-erosion seed mixture around the base of the solar array to help prevent erosion this winter.

Rifle Range:
Check and repair/replace shot up target stands.
Install new target backers on all target stands.
Install Railroad ties at the 100 yard line.

Pistol Range:

Finish installing quarter inch hardware cloth on the right side of each lane above the shooting tables to prevent ejected cases from eroding the soundproofing material. 

Check and repair/replace shot up target stands.
Install new target backers on all target stands.
Replace back storage bench tops with new plywood.
